The Shoppers Drug Mart Flagship is the first significant mid-rise mass timber building in Toronto’s downtown core, one street south of Yonge and Bloor.

A restored heritage wall was maintained after the interior demolition, but behind that wall lies a sophisticated system of glulam columns and beams, and CLT floor, roof, and shaft panels.  This is a stunning example of what modern timber building technology can offer!
